October 18, 2013

windows-phone-8-gdr-3-update-how-to

As you might have known by now, Microsoft have just announced the arrival of the Windows Phone GDR Update 3 for all WP8 devices. While the roll out has started, it might take a while to get through to the users after carrier checks, tests and more. But for the first time ever, after actually announcing it in June 2012, the “Enthusiast” program is now live for Windows Phone 8. It basically means that, if you are interested in previewing the latest version of the operating system, with a few constraints, you can get it on any of your Windows Phone 8 devices right away, that too for free! But how? That’s exactly what we are going to see right now. I am going to try and make it as simple and quick as possible for you to get this update.

Check out our visual walkthrough of the GDR3 update

So, the basic requirements of this Developer Preview of Windows Phone Update 3 are:

Step 1 – Create an app in Windows Phone App Studio

Simply signing up for the App Studio and creating a random app lets you download a Microsoft certificate on your phone. This certificate is...

Get Mango and Ringtones now! Screw watiting for this fall

July 13, 2011

Before you start be aware that Mago is in Beta 2 Stage and you might experince some bugs but not that many. Also I am not responsible if you do not follow the instructions carefully and brick your phone so read it over twice if  you have to. Also by doing this you void your warranty unless you roll your device back to NoDo; the utility included in the package is supposed to back up your phone but just incase and for peice of mind you can use this utility to back up your phone first.  I flashed my HTC Trophy last night with no issues. Get ringtones here.

Simply follow the instructions included with the PDF, but instead of running MangoB2-DevRetailUpdate.exe, run this file.
Everything else is exactly the same. No need to run MangoB2-DevRetailUpdate.exe aftewards.

No dev unlock required, no Zune check, no WP Dev SDK check.
Thanks to ne0cr0n  from XDA Developers for the idea!

here is the link to the tools and instructions that you will need: http://www.mediafire.com/?r3o8r3hmvd79nd5

What's the use of unlocking your WP7 device?

July 13, 2011

Photobucket

What is the use of buying official Microsoft phone unlocking meathods? You can either get a developer's license to unlock your phone or wait for the above app to come out but what for? Microsoft has deciced to block most if not all of the useful homebrewed apps rendering the need for these tools use less.See the article below that I found online for more information.

Windows Phone 7 Mango Block Some Homebrew Apps: One of the firs things we did with the Samsung Focus with “Mango” was to developer-unlock the device using our AppHub account–no problems there. We were also able to sideload official apps from developers not yet released to the Marketplace (e.g. beta testing, early reviews, etc.). However, when it came to side-loading XAP files from say, XDA or other developers, they would not load. Things like Registry editors, themes changers, etc. would result in Error 0×81030120.

WP 7 Windows Phone 7 Mango Block Some Homebrew Apps
Some quick research suggests this limitation is imposed only at deployment time, to maintain MO application compatibility, but further analysis is required. With side-loaded applications not requiring a digital signature, my first thought is to perform runtime manifest modification. YMMV. (more…)

The Cloud\Skydrive\Google\Windows Live Conspiracy

July 9, 2011

If you think cloud technology is all about consumers and serving their needs, think again. Rumor has it that control is what matters most. Whether it’s crunching numbers about your daily intake of milk & cereals, your shopping habits or the news you’re browsing, companies are already fighting the big fight over who you are and what they want you to become. Cloud Computing and storage is the biggest scam since over the air digital TV which the government forced upon us. Is the Government also behind this? And by the way who asked us our opinion? Taking away choices is part of an unethical business practice.

All mercantile honesty gone down the drain, an increasingly worrying phenomenon is slowly creeping into our daily lives: creating a need, then supplying it. Following the fine example of any drug dealer with a minimum of intellect, every respectable business starts its own niche, hooks a few soon-to-be addicts and, before we know it, the ball is rolling and the whole world can’t live without Product X. Take, for example, Facebook, whose practices and ‘innocent’ apps already triggered social and demographic studies, as well as cults preaching ‘detoxification’ from it (not to mention...

Tiler VS. Android

July 9, 2011

An Asian Group Makes A WP7 Mascot That Aims to Strike Back at Apple and Android Dolls

A group of Asian WP7 fans designs a mascot for WP7, the design is based on the WP7 tiles, and the“W”on the top of the mascot represents Windows The designer called this guy Tiler, and I believe the name is derived from the Windows Phone “Live Tiles.” Judging from this picture, I think Tiler is deciding to take on Apple and Android  Dolls for a triple threat match. If this mascot has the “characteristic” of a tile, and I suppose it will have different colors, but no matter what, it looks kind of cute, and I will keep an eye on this little guy to see if it has updates or not.

At the annual South by Southwest (SxSW) conference Microsoft has been trying to push WP7 out to technology enthusiasts. Developer evangelist Charlie Kindel has been giving away WP7 devices (Dell Venue Pro or SamsungFocus) to those who show him Windows Phone 7 application idea that they are working on. Engineers have also been demonstrating the IE9 on the Windows Phone 7 which expected to be part of the Mango update. Mango is expected some time in 2011. At the GDGT party, Microsoft is giving away Windows Phone...

Why pay per click sites are all a scam.

July 4, 2011

In my example I will use two well-known sites that advertise getting paid for posting their adds on your web page. First is the scumbag of all scumbabags "Google Adsense". I myself, friends and millions of people online have either hand no big time income like it is advertised or we get banned for life for no reason; just a lame email saying that there were some illegal clicks (whatever the fuck that means). Yes and Google is sneaking on how the go about doing it to, they wait until you generate a pretty amount of revenue for then then they shut  you down saying that they are going to re-embers the customer when in fact they pocket the profit.

The second company is Adbrite, I personally have used adbrite for over a year after Adsense shut me down for no apparent reason; just the usual bull-shit email everyone gets. First off Adbrite literally robs you blind for example I had like 1,000 page views one day with like 30 clicks and only got $.03 cents, WTF?Yell

Also after like freaking a year of using them, my net earnings were only...
